Terms & Conditions of airBalticShop.com
- 1. Ordering Products
You can find the product in the product group at the section ‘Pre-order’ and order it by selecting the quantity and clicking ‘Buy Now’. This product will then be transferred to the ‘Shopping cart’, which is a list of all the products you have selected to purchase from airBalticShop.lv.
The product is now placed in the ‘Shopping cart’ at the top right of the page. When you have placed all the products that you wish to order into the shopping cart, click on the ‘View your cart’. You will now see the ‘Shopping cart’. If you wish to change the contents, click ‘+’ or ‘-‘ next to the product in the shopping cart in order to increase or decrease its quantity or click on ‘Remove All’ to empty the entire shopping cart. To add new products or review all products in the airBalticShop click on ‘Continue Shopping’. The items in the shopping cart will be reserved for 15 minutes. When you have added all the products you wish in the shopping cart continue by clicking on ‘Checkout’.
You shall now provide information about the invoicing and delivery of purchase. Make sure that all of the information is correct, click on ‘Next Step’. You will now be asked to verify the information. If you wish to change the information or the quantity of ordered products, click on ‘Back’. If the information is correct, click on ‘Place my order’ and you will be directed to ‘Payment’.
- 2. Terms of Payment
You can pay for items only with payment cards.
Your card payment will be made via First Data Latvia (FDL) payment page. After you have completed your shopping, you will be forwarded to the payment page. In the payment page you will have to enter your payment card number, expiry date, verification code (CVV2/CVC2), card owner name and family name.
All data exchanged between your computer and the FDL server is protected under the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. This protocol ensures that the information is encrypted with a 128 bit encryption key, generally accepted as a secure standard for data protection. Information from your payment card goes to FDL only and is neither accessible to the internet shop staff, nor to other unauthorized persons.
We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, and VISA Virtual payment cards if the issuing bank of your card has permitted usage of the card for payments through the Internet. VISA Electron and Maestro cards are accepted as well but only if issued by Latvian banks.
- 3. Conclusion of the Contract:
After placing an order with airBalticShop, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail. This confirmation serves as the confirmation of receipt and does not constitute a legally binding acceptance of your order. The contract is concluded between you and SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija when your order is accepted by shipping the products. All products remain the property of SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija until paid for in full.
Our prices include the Latvian value-added tax at the applicable statutory rate.
Due to permanent improvements in product quality, the actual product may occasionally differ from that illustrated and / or specified on the webpage. All stated performances, dimensions, weights and sizes are approximate.
If you are unsatisfied with the discrepancies between the product description and the product received, please see section 8.3 of these Terms and Conditions or contact Customer Service by writing an e-mail to email@example.com or filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv.
If the actual product advertisement should portray other decoration type material or objects, these are not included in the purchase, receipt or delivery unless otherwise stated in the products description.
We cannot accept any liability for printing errors (which hopefully will not occur), unless they are caused by gross negligence or intent by SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija.
The contract is considered to be fulfilled upon the delivery of the product/-s to you.
- 4. Invoice
Once you will have submitted your order and finished with the payment, you will be redirected from Banklink and you will see a message: “Thank you for purchase. The receipt of your order is sent to your email”
We will also send a receipt to your e-mail address. The receipt will contain your order number. Refer to this number if you contact the customer service.
- 6. Pick-up of Products
- 6.1. Pick-up of Products on Board and at airBaltic Ticket Office
You will receive your order in a transparent sealed bag. It is important NOT to break the sealing during the flight and inside airports. If the sealing is broken, your order can be confiscated due to safety reasons.
When delivered on board, if the packaging is damaged or shows visible signs of other defects, contact cabin crew. For purposes of proof, you should contact cabin crew immediately after receipt, regardless of whether it is a matter of visible or non-visible damage. They will help you resolve the problem.
When delivered at airBaltic Riga Airport ticket office, if the packaging is damaged or shows visible signs of other defects, inform the ticket office’s agents about it.
Remember to check for any visible defects when you receive your products.
If the packaging is intact, but after you have unpacked the product you discover that it is damaged or defective, report this to Customer Service by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org or filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv.
- 6.2. Pick-up of Products via DHL and Latvijas Pasts
You will receive your order in a special package suitable for transportation.
If you discover that the product is damaged or defective after you have unpacked it, contact SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija. For purposes of proof, you should contact Airo Catering Services immediately after receipt and take a photo of the damaged or defective product.
- 7. Order Changes
- 7.1. General Rules
In case you request delivery on board and the relevant flight is cancelled or rescheduled less than 48 hours before its departure, the delivery of the order will be switched to delivery at airBaltic Riga Airport ticket office as soon as possible after you notify us. Please provide the aforesaid notification to SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija customer service by writing an e-mail to email@example.com or filling out filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv not later then in 7 days time after the envisaged delivery date.
- 7.2. Orders with Delivery on Board
If your flight is rescheduled, it is your responsibility to inform SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija about your new flight number and date 48 hours before departure. Please contact SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija customer service by writing an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv with order number, new Flight Number and new Flight Date.
If you wish to cancel the order after you have submitted your order, contact SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija customer service 48 hours before departure by writing an e-mail to email@example.com or filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv. Customer service will help you to cancel your order, but ONLY if the product/-s have not been dispatched. If the products have been dispatched, the order cannot be canceled or changed, except for cases provided in section 7.1. of these Terms and Conditions or when a consumer's right of withdrawal is exercised.
- 7.3. Orders with Delivery at airBaltic Riga Airport Ticket Office:
If you wish to change the receipt date, it is your responsibility to inform SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija about your new date, 24 hours before the delivery day. Please contact SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija customer service by writing an e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv with order number and new Date.
If you wish to cancel the order after you have submitted your order, contact SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija customer service by writing an e-mail to email@example.com or filling out the e-form at www.airbalticshop.lv. Customer service will help you to cancel your order, but ONLY if the products have not been dispatched.
Once the products have been dispatched, the order cannot be canceled or changed, except for cases provided in section 7.1. of these Terms and Conditions or when a consumer's right of withdrawal is exercised.
- 8. Complaints
- 8.1. Genuine Character of Products
All products offered have passed our strict quality inspections and we guarantee that our products are genuine brand products. Please retain your invoice or the delivery note.
- 8.2. Complaints
We guarantee that the products you order will be delivered without any defects. If you nevertheless receive a defective product, except perishable products (food, flowers, etc.), contact Customer Service immediately or no later than within 14 days. Return the product in the condition in which you found it along with a damage or error message. We will analyze your complaint and send an equivalent product in perfect condition to you immediately. The faulty product must be undamaged and, if possible, in its original packaging.
NB. Before you return the defective/faulty product, contact Customer Service under firstname.lastname@example.org in order to have your complaint analyzed and the return postage paid.
You may claim inconsistency of the product/-s with the contract between you and SIA Airo Catering Services within 2 years from the moment of the delivery of the product/-s to you. In case of the claim of the aforesaid inconsistency you are obliged to return the product in the condition you received it along with damage or error report and the invoice. We will send the corresponding product to you in perfect condition as soon as possible, provided that your claims are valid. SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija will cover the cost of postage.
- 8.3. Consumers’ Right of Withdrawal
Consumers (any natural persons who act for purposes which are outside his trade, business or profession) have the right to return ordered products that are not defective, except perishable products (food, flowers, etc.). You should notify us of this as soon as you receive the product and no later than fourteen (14) days after the date of delivery. Notification of the return of a product should be given to Customer Service by letter to SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija, Riga International Airport, Biroju 10, LV 1053, Latvija. Your message shall contain the following information: a) order number b) invoice number and c) product number of the product(s) you wish to return.
The returned products must have been used according to their purpose, undamaged and, if possible, in their original packaging. In case a consumer has purchased audio or video recordings or software, the packaging must not have been open upon the return of the product.
Return the product together with the invoice or a copy of the invoice. State the reason for returning the product on the back of the invoice!
You must pay the return postage yourself. The return postage must not be with payment on open account.
The payment will be reimbursed in up to 30 days after you have sent the notice of withdrawal.
If the returned product is undamaged, used according to its purpose, but the product completely matched its description, the postage expenses will not be reimbursed.
If the returned product is undamaged, used according to its purpose, but the product had not matched its description, the payment and postage expenses will be reimbursed.
- 9. E-mails
You will only receive newsletters by e-mail if you have ticked the box ‘yes please…’ during a purchase on the way to the shopping cart or under the item Newsletter. You can cancel the newsletter at any time by clicking on CANCEL or sending a message CANCEL from the e-mail address you receive the Newsletter to e-mail: email@example.com .
- 10. Promo code or coupon
Discounts cannot be summed up. E-coupon value is non-refundable.
Each promo code is unique, therefore, valid only one time.
Promo code or coupon must be redeemed within terms stated on coupon document. If not, then its value is lost. The validity of the promo code or coupon cannot be extended.
- 11. Personal Information / Personal Data Policy
You will be registered as a customer the first time you purchase a product at SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija. We register the following personal information: Name, address, telephone number and e-mail, and, if indicated, also company name and company’s VAT number.
We register your personal information for the purpose of delivering your product: SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija will store your data and forward it to associated companies and service providers (e.g. Latvijas Pasts, DHL) for order fulfilment.
When we collect personal information, we always ensure that it only occurs with your express permission. You must be informed precisely about what information we have registered and why. If you have agreed to accept latest information about special offers, new products from airBalticShop, your address and order data will be stored and used for marketing purposes of airBalticShop.
You can anytime object to your data being used, handled or forwarded for marketing purposes or revoke your consent to transmission by sending an informal message. Your objection is binding. By objecting, you will neither incur any costs, nor any disadvantages. Please send your objection to SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija, Riga International Airport, Biroju 10, LV1053 or via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
No other personal information is registered. The information is never shared with a third party, except, for processing your order. After receipt of your objection or revocation, we will not use, handle or forward your data for other purposes than processing your orders.
- 12. Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
Latvian law applies, with exclusion of the UN Convention on the International Sale of Goods. Riga shall be the exclusive place of jurisdiction for bilateral commercial sales.
Airo Catering Services Latvija is a limited liability company under Latvian law with headquarters at Riga International Airport, Biroju 10, LV1053. It is registered in the Register of Companies of the Republic of Latvia under registration number LV40003200593 and is represented by its managing director Mr. Andris Balickis.

SIA Airo Catering Services Latvija makes allowances for typing errors, price errors, VAT and fee changes, sold out / discontinued products and failure to deliver by our suppliers.
